I was raised in Roswell, NM.  I graduated from New Mexico State University in 2004 and moved to San Antonio, TX.  I worked at Longs Creek Elementary as a third grade teacher.  I received a Master’s Degree at the University of Texas San Antonio.  My husband, Chris Parker, and I were married in December of 2007.  November 2010 we were blessed with our first child, Jacob.   He is the light of our lives.  In the eight years I have been in education I have worked as a third grade teacher, second grade teacher, and as an assistant principal.  I am very excited to now be part of the White Oak Intermediate family.
